Gramma Karen and Grampa Keith agreed to babysit today so that Angie and I could have some time out of the house together. We had a late lunch at Chili's (thanks, Aunt Joanie!) and then went shopping. We didn't find anything that we couldn't live without. We found that we couldn't live without Maddie for too long, though, and were ready to get back home after being gone for about three hours.
Correction: Sorry, Gramma Karen and Grampa Keith. While you were the first to relieve us of our parental duties in our own home, you aren't Maddie's first babysitter. Angie reminded me that Grandpa Greg and Tessa watched her for us a week ago while Angie and I attended my opening at the med school's art gallery.
We LOVE being with you Maddie! You are special. :):)
ReplyDeleteYou better watch who you let watch Maddie.
ReplyDeleteI see some awful Jayhawk messages getting through ... if that little girl doesn't bleed purple, I'll know who is responsible.
I wanted her to hold Maddie closer so that the Jayhawk wouldn't be visible but she wouldn't do it. I can't believe she loves a Jayhawk more than Maddie. :)~
