02.27.10 - Little reader

Maddie loves to sit in a little chair at Lisa's day care so we searched online and found this adorable little reading chair! Gramma Karen and Grampy Keith decided they'd go in half on it and ordered it last week. They delivered it today and was it a hit! Maddie loves it!

If you're wondering, her shirt reads "That's 'Miss Cutie' to you!"

02.25.10 - Learning to share

Actually, Maddie was preoccupied with a binkers so sharing her Cheerios with Harley was the only other reasonable thing to do.

02.24.10 - Snack time!

Yeah, snack time! (And more evidence that she's gonna be a lefty. How did THAT happen?!!)

02.21.10 - First glasses

For her sake, I sure hope she doesn't need glasses!

02.20.10 - Fork and Maddie

Maddie picked up a fork for the first time today. With a little help getting it loaded up with food, she had a pretty good idea of what to do with it, even if it looks like she's gonna miss!

02.13.10 - Haunted house

Maddie loves to take Nate's burpie rags, put them over her head, and crawl around the house. She looks like a little ghost although, as you can tell, she isn't the least bit scared!

02.11.10 - Story time

Nate might have been sleeping when the grandparents came to visit today but Maddie sure wasn't. She insisted on reading one of her favorite books with Grandma Shepherd. We're so thrilled that she loves books so much!

02.08.10 - They grow up so fast

We swear, Maddie has grown about a foot after bringing her brother home from the hospital last week. We didn't see her for three days and we feel like we missed so much! Our baby is walking and now likes to wear this bow in her hair. Tomorrow, she's off to college!

02.07.10 - Standing Tall

Maddie is now standing on her own and taking one or two steps on her own. She got away from me during outfit changes today and reminded me this photo of her from about eight months ago, when she just began sitting up on her own. See any similarities?

02.06.10 - "No one asked me if I wanted a brother!"

And, no. I don't want him to sit by me.

The next frame in this sequence and Maddie is on the other side of the couch sitting next to Harley, who, I assume, is as displeased about today's events as Maddie is!

02.04.10 - Sisters stick together

We're starting to really miss our girls and we hope they miss us to but every time we call to check on them we're told they're doing fine. Grampy Keith snapped this photo of them looking out their front door today. They sure like they're looking for us!

02.03.10 - Rare form

Maddie's hanging out with Gramma Karen and Grampy Keith while her Mom and I are in the hospital having her brother. Before they headed to their house tonight, they stopped by to see Nan and Pop where we're told she was in rare form! Just being silly. Gramma Karen says the photo doesn't do her justice but we get the idea!
